4. What is the difference？

-Entry qualifications;
You need only 3 credits in the SPM to qualify for admission into a Diploma Programme and 5 credits in the SPM for the Foundation Programme.
-Duration
Duration for a Diploma Programme is 28 months (minimum); Foundation courses take 14 months (minimum).However, a Diploma Programme can articulate into the second year or third year of a university degree. Hence, total duration from SPM to a bachelor’s degree will be a total of 3-4 years while the Foundation prepares a student to enter into the first year of a university degree. Total duration will be also 4 years or slightly more. Hence, in terms of time spent, there is little difference.
