Graduation 2008

It Feels Great at Life !! It helped me prepare for work out there. What I will remember most of Life College are good friends and great lecturers.Every part of Life is special, there will definitely be very special memories of Life College.by Amanda Teoh;
I would describe Life College as a cool place and of course it has a friendly environment as well. One thing that I have learnt from life College is that you have to be independent and of course you have to learn how to think critically and it depends sometimes on the assignments that the lecturers give you but one thing that I would cherish here is the friends that I had who actually helped me in projects and also assignments and I will never forget that.by Melissa Joan
It was a fantastic time I had here and finally I have come to this stage that I graduated. Thank you to all my friends, and especially the Mission trip People,My Time here at Life College Is AWESOME. I have totally No regrets at all. No Regretsby Jassny Martin
I have learnt a lot from Life College , I know and have met many friends, good and great friends . The friends I met here have helped me a lot. Thanks to them all for helping me that today I have graduated. What I will remember most are the administrators like Ms Elaine who helped me a lot. When I was faced with problems, she helped me out. So did the lecturers who also helped me a lotby Lim Kee Loon
I am really happy and I want to thank Life College for the internship, scholarship, and for being able to finish my study here..I am happy nowI have learnt a lot from design to everything related to multimedia and I even had the opportunity to work for a year, so this helped me learn a lot of things. Life College is GREATby Dennis Yong
The most memorable thing about life college is the friends that I have made, the fun times we had, the learning experience and the lecturers who are really very good.Life Skills is really informational for me and it really taught me a lot but I must say that life at Life college is quite good in the sense that the lecturer still kinda spoon feed but if you go to other universities out there I don’t think they will actually remind you and show you so much care and concern. Life College really cares. But it’s a good thing that they still do, I am not saying it’s a bad thing. I would say Life College Is Awesome.by Elizabeth Foo
I had fun, my learning experience was really fun and I met a lot of friendsby Abel Keng
What did I remember most about life College?Basically when we hang out in college with the guitar here and everyone will come and start singing and jamming and get scolding by one of the staff because the sound travels through the chaffs and everyone will hear.Describe Life College in one word or sentence?

It’s quite impossible to describe Life College in one word or one sentence but what I can really say is, it is life changing, it is a family college, everybody knows each other and everybody knows everything including all the good stuff but basically Life college is a small college community college where we can make friends easily

“Life College has prepared me well. The Life Skills are so important to help us grow in maturity and the values that are imparted are necessary and important to prepare us for the future. The Life Skills sessions are good because they work! There is a right balance between academic and life skills preparation at Life College. As a result, I am able to balance my life and given me more confidence as I moved on to other degree studies. I learnt a lot from the College such as how to plan my studies, do proper assignments, make new friends, etc. It had blessed me a lot.”by Daniel Gan, Graduate, Diploma in Business Studies
“I learnt a lot at Life College. The exposure and experience here had been priceless. The staff and teachers are very encouraging. Definitely I have received a lot from Life College”
Adam Tan, Graduate, Diploma in Multimedia
“I didn’t expect to come so far. The College really took the effort and heart to move me, encourage me and change me for the better during the time that I spent there. I want to thank the College for all the help and support given. ”by Pang Su Li, Graduate, Certificate in Business Information Systems
“I am so grateful to the College. I’ve learnt a lot of things while studying here. The College staff are really caring and helped me in so many ways.”by Justin Wong, Graduate, Diploma in Multimedia
“It has been a year since I graduated from Life College and transferred to another institution to complete my degree. I realised that what I learnt at Life College had been so important and had been hidden inside me. The skills I learnt helped me in my further studies. I learnt also to cultivate positive relationships with people; cope with difficult situations and apply inter- personal skills. I also learnt how to network with people and to come out of my comfort zone. It has established a break-through for me in my life.”by Melvin Ng, Graduate, Diploma in Business Studies
“My experience at Life College is very good. I have learnt so many things that I cannot expect to learn about life in so short a time. I would recommend others to join the College to gain such an experience. This is definitely a very good college.”by Nicholas Yap, Graduate, Diploma in Business Studies
“Life College has changed my life so much. A lot of people can see the difference in me. I am now doing something I can be proud of as I graduate to transfer to UK. Life College’s staff are very understanding, patient and helped make me a better person. I find the College provided a very balanced programme that makes it enjoyable. It really means a lot to me”by Yohan Yogaraj, Graduate, Certificate in Business Information Systems
Life College Diploma in Mass Communication covers what the workforce needs today. It helped me to understand every single terminology the organization use. It provided me with an added advantage to be better equipped as I know I will be knowledgeable and insightful in different areas when approached at work. The good interpersonal communication skills I have gathered along the way during my course of studies such as Psychology, Communication Skills and Public Speaking makes communicating information, ideas in writing and speaking easier for me in the office. Handling the media and doing follow up with the press for events and announcements also require an understanding on how the media works. This was taught during our journalism and broadcasting classes. Whatever I have learnt during my studies in Life College has helped me to cope with the workload I encountered during my internship in OSK Investment Bank. This industrial placement has made me better prepared for my future in the marketplace. As competition is going to be stiff, one needs to learn to adapt to any situation and acclimatize with the corporate culture instantly. It has taken me to a higher level of understanding the market needs and equip me to overcome possible obstacles I will face in the future. It has also shaped my personality to embrace the future whatever the circumstances may be.by Nicole Tan, Graduate, Diploma in Mass Communication on her work placement
“Before I come to Life College, I could not speak, read or write well in English. I was more comfortable speaking in Chinese. After just two months, I learnt how to pronounce well and understand the sounds of letters. I can now speak English much better and is improving everyday. The English programme here is very good.”by Lucas Lim, Student, English For Life
