Upgrading Academic Standards

  • There is increasing concern in the community that the proliferation of the private higher education industry has made it into a business where profit margins have allegedly taken precedence over the emphasis on academic excellence.
  • It is the mission of Life College to assist all students, by making higher education more affordable, accessible and achievable. The College will uphold educational integrity and maintain the quality assurance measures that it has set in place.
  • Valid and accessible means of teaching and helping students to improve academic standings are employed.
  • The College employs lecturers who are highly qualified and professionally experienced with at least a Master’s degree.
  • Lecturers are also recruited for their ability to serve as excellent role models and who share the same vision as the College.
  • The College has links with good universities overseas; their programmes well accredited by their national accreditation bodies.
  • Life College staff-student ratio at (1:12) is unchallenged.
  • Class sizes are small and allow for greater student/teacher interaction; maximum care and support; individualised attention and close rapport with the academic and support staff.
